Meet Greg Goddard
I’m Greg Goddard — a lifelong sailor, engineer, project leader, and father. This is the space where my values, experience, and vision converge.
It’s also a space to speak honestly about the times we’re living in — where many are just surviving, and even those who’ve built wealth aren’t immune to the deeper shifts underway. My focus is on helping people create real freedom — financial, emotional, and personal — so they can face the future with clarity and confidence.
And for those who’ve already found their footing, this is also a space to explore what comes next: impact, contribution, and legacy.

Ocean Lessons to Life Decisions
My earliest memories are aboard a yacht, learning to read the wind and waves under the steady hand of my father. Sailing has always been more than a pastime — it’s been a training ground. It teaches you to observe, to listen, to understand when things are shifting. Whether it’s the state of the sea, the health of the crew, or the condition of the gear — the risks are real, and good judgment matters.
Those lessons stayed with me as I became an engineer and later led large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. The sea taught me how to manage risk. Industry taught me how to lead. Both shaped how I see the world today.
Now, as a father and citizen, I see parallels. We’re facing uncertain waters — economically, socially, environmentally. My hope is to bring together practical wisdom from these two worlds to start the conversations we need to have. Ones that are calm, grounded, and forward-facing — because there’s a lot at stake, and a lot worth protecting.

Navigating a currency reset
Just like at sea or on a major project, navigating today’s financial landscape takes awareness, preparation, and good judgment. I’ve developed a strong interest in macroeconomics, precious metals, and system-level risks — but more importantly, I know how to turn insight into action.
My strength lies in practical thinking — taking complex situations and finding steady, workable solutions. Whether it’s protecting wealth, simplifying decisions, or just knowing where to start, I’m here to help.
If this is something you’d like support with, let’s have a chat. I offer a free 15-minute intro call, and I’m available for deeper one-on-one consulting for those who want to go further into strategy.

The Power of the Boat and the Sea
This is my passion project — the one that’s lived quietly in the background while life has been full with work, responsibility, and raising a family. I’ve come to realise that I can’t keep putting it off. This is the work that lights me up.
Through this site, I’m carving out space to share a vision that’s been with me for years: helping young people grow through the experience of being at sea.
Out on the water, something shifts. The sea invites presence. It teaches patience, sharpens awareness, and strips away the noise. For young people, it offers:
-
A sense of belonging and shared purpose
-
Real-world chances to build resilience and emotional steadiness
-
A healthy relationship with risk, rhythm, and responsibility
-
Mentorship that flows naturally through action, not theory
-
A strong identity they carry forward: “I’m a sailor”
If I can use this site to bring more awareness to this calling — and begin taking some solid steps toward it — then I know I’m moving in the right direction.
If this speaks to you, or you’d like to connect about this vision, feel free to contact me.
